The Rural Gas Company has been providing prompt, reliable propane gas delivery, equipment sales, and service to Southwest Connecticut for over 60 years–spanning three generations of family ownership.
While growing to support thousands of homes and businesses, we have retained the practices of a small-town family-owned company, providing courtesy, quality and value in everything we do.
Our service and installation department is staffed by licensed, insured highly trained employees–not subcontractors. These experts can install, maintain and repair virtually any propane system, including furnaces, water heaters, gas- fired clothes dryers, vented room heaters, pool heaters and more.
Our delivery fleet is comprised of modern vehicles, and we use cellular phone dispatching for rapid service. Our fuel storage terminal has a capacity of nearly 100,000 gallons, ensuring an uninterrupted supply of propane at all times–including emergencies–and bulk supply savings that we can pass on to you.
